What documents do I need to bring when I hire a van?
When collecting a hire vehicle, all drivers must produce three items of ID:
1) photo-card driving licence
2) a utility bill or financial statement which is less than 3 months old (e.g. from a credit card, bank, building society, retail store or clothes catalogue)
3) an official item preferably with a photograph or signature, e.g. passport, store card or works ID card
Please note, we will also need a DVLA licence share code which you can generate HERE. Don’t worry if you forget or don;t have time though, as we can do it in the office. However, your National Insurance number is required for this so please make sure you have a record of it with you.
