Yes – an additional driver costs just £15.00 per day.

Yes – if we are closed when you return your vehicle we have an out of hours key drop off box.

Please remember that vehicles remain on hire until checked in by a member of Dash Drive staff.

Can I buy my fuel when I rent the van and return it empty?

Do you require a deposit when I hire a van?

Yes. We require a deposit of £250.00 to be pre-authorised on the main driver’s credit or debit card before the vehicle can be rented. This deposit will be taken at the time of rental, not when the booking is made.

What do I do if I need to cancel my rental booking?

If you need to cancel a booking then you must do so in writing or by sending an email to rentals@dashdrive.co.uk

For more information please see our terms and condtions.

What is CDW?

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. It is an optional service which, if accepted, limits your financial responsibility for damage to the Dash Drive vehicle.

What is the excess when I hire a van?

The standard excess on most Dash Drive vehicles is £1,000. This can be reduced on some vehicles to £250 by taking out the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) for a small fee per rental day. Some vehicles may have a higher excess. Please call our team for further information.

How long must I have been driving before I can hire a van?

Drivers must be aged over 21 (25 for some vehicles) and hold a valid driving licence, with correct category entitlement, and have at least 1 years driving experience.

Are there any age restrictions when renting a van?

Drivers must be aged between 21 and 69 to hire from Dash Drive. We can sometimes cover drivers up to the age of 73 so please call and ask.
